Curse of the Frozen Gold
Allegedly worth billions, "Slumach's Gold" has tantalized prospectors for over a century, and now a team of experienced gold hunters takes up the hunt - and the curse that goes with it. They're an odd mix - young and fit mountain climbers, a gold-obsessed prospector, a local outdoorsman, and some savvy, but skeptical old-timers. They only have three months to explore the vast and rugged wilderness of Pitt Lake before winter weather sets in. imdb.com

GREAT PACIFIC MEDIA (2022)

Deadman’s Curse
Former MMA fighter Kru Williams, young Indigenous explorer Taylor Starr and her father and master carver Don seek out the help of seasoned treasure hunter and mountaineer Adam Palmer to finally solve the mystery of Slumach's lost gold mine.
This illustration by Fred Bosman from In Search of a Legend shows Slumach murdering Louis Bee. It reflects the unreliable press accounts of the 1800s. In fact there was only one witness present and both he and Louis Bee were sitting in the dugout as the shooting happened.
